I have taken 100 mg of Celebrex for years and have taken it every day for 7 years. I am very concerned about side effects, especially the stomach bleeding. My Dr. said the Celebrex dose is not good for me. I was wondering if there was anything I could try? I had taken it for years and it worked great. I did not have any problems at all, my husband and I went to a local pharmacy and were told there was no side effects. I found out I have had osteoporosis and I have taken Celebrex for years. I am in my 40s and I have never had problems with my stomach. I have noticed my blood pressure and heart rate are slightly elevated. My doctor said to try it, but I did not feel the benefits. My husband is also taking the same medication, but I am not. He says that he can tell when to start his heart pumping and that there is no other problem. He told me that he can do it when he feels the benefits of Celebrex outweigh its problems. I was told that if I don't take the medication for a few weeks, then the benefits will diminish. He said that he will continue taking the Celebrex medication for as long as it is prescribed.
